The new Ultima network cable is built with the following unique aspects, several of which were newly created just for the Ultima project:
UltraPlate hybrid solid-core wiring - the purest copper with a dense layer of silver
Special cryogenic treatment
Advanced hybrid dielectric
Ultima geometry
Multi-layer tubing with integrated shielding sandwiched between isolation layers
PEEK/PPS braided sleeve for ultimate lightweight protection
Aluminum RJ45 connectors from Telegartner Germany
The Ultima network cable has been in development since the initial batch of Ultima products first launched in early 2026. Apart from the early exploration of power cables (which resulted in the first product, the Praesto), this particular design has likely had the most prototypes built and the most time spent being compared to other products on the market. We know that high-end streaming is growing market segment, and the top equipment in that category is extremely resolving. Veritas set out to make the absolute best sounding network cable available anywhere, and after much effort they believe they've succeeded in that goal.
