Eversolo AMP-F8 Class AB Stereo Power Amplifier
Pre-Order
Designed for evolving listening needs, Eversolo introduces the AMP-F8 Class AB power amplifier. More than output power alone, a high-performance amplifier must provide stable energy delivery, strong speaker control, and a quiet background that allows musical details, dynamics, and layers to unfold naturally. Combining Eversolo's pursuit of sonic purity, system stability, and refined industrial design, the AMP-F8 delivers a powerful yet composed amplification solution with strong capability for high-quality audio systems.

The Eversolo AMP-F8 is a Class AB stereo power amplifier with Class A bias, built for high-end two-channel systems. It delivers 180 W per channel into 8 ohms and 280 W into 4 ohms, or 500 W into 8 ohms bridged, with total harmonic distortion held to 0.003% and a 115 dB signal-to-noise ratio. Twin analogue VU meters sit across the front panel. As Eversolo’s official U.S. distribution partner, Forté Distribution brings the AMP-F8 to North American systems with full manufacturer warranty.
Class AB with Class A Bias
At low listening levels the AMP-F8 runs in Class A, where the output devices never stop conducting and crossover distortion does not arise. As dynamic demand climbs the amplifier transitions to Class AB, keeping thermal load and current draw in proportion to what the music actually asks for. This is a deliberate compromise in favour of the volumes at which most listening happens, and it avoids the standing heat penalty of running pure Class A across the full output range.
Linear Power Supply
A toroidal transformer sits at the centre of the linear power supply. Supply reserves matter less for sustained output than for transient headroom: the moment an orchestral crescendo demands current faster than the supply can deliver is the moment an amplifier audibly compresses.
Output Stage and Channel Isolation
The output stage uses matched MOSFET devices. Left and right amplification stages are independent, holding crosstalk to 95 dB down, and a damping factor above 400 gives the amplifier firm control over woofer motion. Over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection run continuously, and an efficient heat-dissipation structure keeps the amplifier stable in long sessions.
Metering, Gain and Standby
Two analogue VU meters sit on the front panel, with a rear switch to disable their backlight for darkened rooms. A dual-colour LED ring around the standby button reports state at a glance: white for active, orange for standby, alternating for protection. Each channel takes either balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA, chosen by its own rear input-mode selector, and a 23 dB / 29 dB gain switch matches the amplifier to speakers of differing sensitivity. Standby follows a 5 to 12 V trigger from a preamplifier or processor, or can be left in signal-sensing mode, where the amplifier stands down after twenty minutes without signal and wakes when music returns.
Bridged Mono Operation
A rear switch reconfigures the AMP-F8 for bridged mono, raising output to 500 W into 8 ohms for use as a monoblock pair. Bridged operation is rated for 8 ohm loads only; 4 ohm bridged is not supported. Power the amplifier down and disconnect the speakers before changing the mode switch, and confirm that speaker impedance and power handling suit the higher bridged output before use.
Voltage Selection
The AMP-F8 ships with a 115 V / 230 V selector on the underside of the chassis. Confirm that it matches your local mains standard before connecting power for the first time.
